NOTE: Much of
what follows in “Section One” are excerpts from a November 15, 2007 letter
of mine.
I. SECTION ONE – AUTHORS WHO CALL “THE PROTOCOLS” A FORGERY and/or ATTRIBUTE ITS AUTHORSHIP TO THE JESUITS
Listed below are some authors who have labeled the “Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion” a FORGERY and/or have attributed its authorship to the Jesuit Order:
(1.) Robert Gellately, author of the 696-page hardback book “Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler: The Age of Social Catastrophe” (2007); Publisher: Alfred A. Knopf, New York: Gellately uses the term “notorious forgery” to describe the “Protocols”. On page 68 of his book he states the following:
“The accusation that the Jews were behind the Russian Revolution, which was part of a larger conspiracy to win control of the world, was common currency among White [Ed.: i.e., Russian counterrevolutionary] armies. Although the notorious forgery ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ appeared well before 1914, it was popularized in Russia during the [Russian] civil war [Ed.: 1918-1920]. White [Ed.: Army] officers carried abbreviated copies of the book and read it to their troops. The theory was that the Jews were behind the Russian Revolution, and it was considered ‘proven’ by Trotsky’s prominent role as head of the [Ed.: Communist] Red Army. Posters put out by the Whites showed Trotsky as a Jewish monster. [Ed.: Trotsky was later murdered in Mexico in 1940.]
The
murder of the [Ed.: Russian] royal family [Ed.: in 1918] helped to
turn ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ into a publishing success
especially among Whites and [Ed.: Russian] exiles. New forgeries
updated the conspiracy charges [Ed.: against the Jews]. These
‘revealing documents’ had aftereffects, and not just in Russia. They were
widely published in Germany and found a ready audience on the right-wing fringes
where conspiracy theories linked Jews to the disastrous end of the war [Ed:
i.e., World War I] and the rise of Communism.”
Interestingly, on page 68 of his book, Robert Gellately notes that during the Russian Civil War BOTH the Communist Red Army and the “White” [Ed.: i.e., Russian counterrevolutionary] Armies carried out pogroms against Russian Jews! Now, if “the Jews” were really controlling the Russian Communists and the Communist Red Army, then WHY IN BLAZES would the Red Army be carrying out pogroms against JEWS?
(2.) Eric Jon Phelps, author of the 694-page softcover book “Vatican Assassins” (2001), tells us on page 377:
“…Little
did they [Ed.: i.e., the Jews] know [that] they had been set up by
the Sons of Loyola [Ed.: i.e., the Jesuit Order]
and would be blamed for the atrocities of Russian communism.
Part of the set-up was the circulation of ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’. Laying the blueprint for a world socialist-communist state, it was very much like the [Jesuit] Order’s secret meetings [Ed.: in 1825] at Chieri, Italy [that were] exposed by Leone’s ‘The Secret Plan’ in 1848. Its [Ed.: i.e., “The Protocols of Zion”] authorship was attributed to the Jews, but the true source was the Society of Jesus [i.e., the Jesuit Order].” (Phelps follows his statement with a quote by Leo H. Lehmann concerning “The Protocols of Zion” – please see immediately below.)
(3.) Leo H. Lehmann, author of the book “Behind the Dictators” (1942; Agora Publishing Co., New York; Page 15), states: “Although first published in Russia in 1903, the ‘Protocols of Zion’ had their origin in France and date from the Dreyfus Affair, of which the Jesuits were the chief instigators. …These ‘Protocols’ of supposedly Jewish leaders are not the first documents of their kind fabricated by the Jesuits.”
(4.) [Note: This quote was added on February 11, 2008]: H. Paul
Jeffers, author of the 323-page hardback book, “History’s Greatest
Conspiracies: 100 Plots, Real and Suspected, that Have Shocked, Fascinated, and
Sometimes Changed the World” (2004; 2006 edition by Fall River Press, New
York, NY), tells us on pages 310-312:
“The most notorious FORGERY of a document for political purposes in the twentieth century, the
‘Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’ has been used to foment hatred of
Jews in every part of the world. Consisting of twenty-four sections containing
the ‘secret plans’ of a ‘conclave of Jewish leaders’ in the last years
of the nineteenth century to take control of the world, the document was the invention
of the secret police (Okhrana) of the government of [Russian]
Czar Nicholas II. According to an ‘editor’ of one version of the
Protocols, the document had been stolen from a Zionist office in France. Another
edition stated that it had been read at the First Zionist Congress in
Switzerland in 1897. But Professor Norman Cohn in his book on the Protocols,
‘Warrant for Genocide’, asserts that the concept of a Jewish world-control
plan was derived from a nineteenth century French political satire in which the
plotters were NOT Jewish.
Following the Russian Revolution in 1917, supporters of the deposed Czar
circulated the Protocols with the intention of discrediting the Bolsheviks by
linking Communism to the Jewish plot for world domination. Ironically, the
Protocols were used later by Soviet dictator Josef Stalin
[Ed.: who interestingly had been trained by JESUITS at the Tiflis
Seminary in Georgia] to assert that Jews at the center of Western capitalism
were directing an anti-Soviet conspiracy. Although the Protocols were proven to
be FAKE in 1920, the document was still presented as authentic by two
pro-Communist British journalists…
The following year
[Ed.: i.e., 1921], Arabs in Palestine and Syria used the Protocols to stir up
resentment against Jewish settlers in Palestine, claiming that they were the
spearhead of an ‘international Jewish conspiracy’, led by Zionists to
establish a Jewish state. The Protocols have continued to be used as a basis of
Arab resistance to ‘the Zionist entity’ (Israel)…
In the United States, the Protocols have been cited by anti-Semitic
groups, including the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazi organizations, white supremacists,
and Black Muslims. In 1920, automaker Henry Ford’s anti-Semitic publication,
‘The Dearborn Independent’, presented a series of articles based on the
Protocols titled ‘The International Jew: the World’s Foremost Problem’.
During the rise of the Nazis in Germany, and throughout the reign of Hitler, the
Protocols were an integral part of the anti-Jewish campaign that led to the
‘Final Solution’ and Holocaust…
In a message of greeting to a world seminar on the centenary of the first
publication of the Protocols, held in Venice, Italy, in December 2002, the
director-general of UNESCO…told the delegates, ‘It is a bitter lesson of history that still today,
one hundred years after it [Ed.:
i.e., the Protocols] was created by the Russian Czarist secret police and
despite its being exposed over and over again as a FORGERY,
the document known as ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion’ continues to
exercise its terrible power as an instrument of anti-Semitism. It is instructive
because it demonstrates yet again that, given the necessary mind frame, people
can be induced to believe what has been formally refuted, which can then be used
to justify the most unspeakable atrocities.”
Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: The Roman Catholic Church for
centuries blamed “the Jews” for all the evils in the world, including the
“Black Death” (probably the bubonic plague) that took so many lives in
Europe and Asia during the 14th century. From time to time local
Roman Catholic priests would tell their parishioners that “the Jews” had
kidnapped “the Host” (i.e., a consecrated Eucharistic wafer), and were
torturing it – or that “the Jews” had kidnapped and murdered Christian
children, and were drinking their blood. The result: Incited crowds of Roman
Catholics would butcher every Jew in their local village (and/or in the
surrounding villages) that they could “get their hands on”! In 1236 A.D.,
Roman Catholic “crusaders” practiced their “crusading skills” prior to
departing for the Holy Land by butchering Jews in the Anjou and Poitou
regions of western France. Hitler said
that his persecution of Jews in Germany was modeled simply on what the Roman
Catholic Church had been doing for many centuries. Oh, yes – Hitler and
Goebbels were big fans of “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”. (If

(5.) [Note:
This quote was added on February 28, 2008]: Michael Howard, author of the 262-page paperback book “Secret
Societies: Their Influence and Power from Antiquity to the Present Day”;
(1989; 2008 2nd U.S edition by Destiny Press, Rochester, Vermont),
tells us on pages 155 and 156:
“Hitler was influenced in his attitudes toward the Jews by a
publication called ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion’. This document was
said to be an account of the World Congress of Jewry held in Basel, Switzerland,
in 1897, during which a conspiracy was planned by the international Jewish
movement and the Freemasons to achieve world domination. At the beginning of
World War I, copies of this publication had been imported into Germany from
Russia by the Thule Society, which had used it to suggest that the Russian
Revolution in 1917 had been financed by the Jews.
‘The Protocols’ was also used by the German nationalists to prove
that the defeat of the Second Reich in 1918 was caused by a global Jewish
conspiracy. The report of the [Ed.:
Jewish] World Congress had allegedly been smuggled out of Switzerland
by a Russian journalist, who had then placed the document in the safe keeping of
the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge in Frankfurt. Before handing over the document,
however, he had made several copies that he then circulated in rightist circles
in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In fact, ‘The Protocols’ was a forgery
created by dissident members of the czarist secret police. They planned to use
the document to undermine the influence on [Ed.:
Russian Czar] Nicholas II of several leading Freemasons who were urging the
monarch to adopt liberal policies. Although ‘The Protocols’ was exposed as a
fraud
in 1921, its influence was widespread for many years after and it is still
regarded by some conspiracy theorists as genuine. Even today, it is still being
used by intelligence services and the secret police in several Arab countries as
anti-Israeli propaganda. In ‘Mein Kamph’, Hitler, obviously influenced by
his reading of ‘The Protocols’, denounced the Jews as agents of an
international conspiracy devoted to global domination through the control of the
world’s financial centers and money markets.”
(6.) Authors Brad and Sherry
Steiger sum up “The Protocols” very well on page 374 of their
539-page paperback book “Conspiracies and Secret Societies: The Complete
Dossier” (2006; Visible Ink Press): “‘The Protocols of the Learned
Elders of Zion’, it would seem, is an amalgam of plagiarized political
pamphlets, fictional documents, and various inflammatory works
– many of which in their original context did not even concern
themselves with Jews but were attacks on Jesuits.” On page
372 of the same book they state: “In
the opinions of some researchers, ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of
Zion’ may truly be the ‘Mother of All Anti-Semite Conspiracies’. No matter
how often the work is proved to be a FORGERY,
some conspiracy theorists will continue to cite the ‘Protocols’ as proof
that an international group of Jewish bankers is plotting to take over the
world.” (More details concerning the origins of “The Protocols of the
Learned Elders of Zion” are provided in the Steigers’ book.)
II. SECTION TWO – MORE QUOTES ABOUT “THE PROTOCOLS” AND ABOUT
“THE BLAME THE JEWS GAME”
[Note: This quote was added on December 12, 2007]: Grace
Halsell, author of the 132-page paperback book, “Forcing God’s Hand: Why
Millions Pray for a Quick Rapture – And Destruction of Planet Earth”
(1999; Crossroads International Publishing, Washington, D.C.), tells us on pages
79 and 80:
“…Nevertheless, many fundamentalists, well-connected and respected in their
own circles, have an established history of having taught their followers that
Jews were behind all the world’s troubles. In the 1930s, fundamentalists
including Arnold C. Gaebelein, popular Bible teacher and editor of ‘Our
Hope’, James M. Gray, president of Moody Bible Institute, and Gerald B. Winrod,
founder of the ‘Defenders of the Christian Faith’, taught that Jews were
instigators of an international conspiracy.
They based their anti-Semitic statements on ‘The Protocols of the
Learned Elders of Zion’, a series of alleged secret proceedings in
which Jews plotted to destroy Christianity, undermine democratic governments,
control the international economy and take over the world. Originating in Russia
[Ed. Note: the origins of the
“Protocols” actually go back even farther to France], the ‘Protocols’
were first published in the United States in Henry Ford’s ‘Dearborn
Independent’ in 1920 as ‘The International Jew’. The book became a crucial
part of organized anti-Semitism.
By the late 1930s, however, ‘Increasing numbers of fundamentalists
realized that people who promoted the ‘Protocols’ and the idea of an
international Jewish conspiracy sounded too much like Nazi sympathizers,’
church historian Timothy Weber points out. ‘By the 1940s and the coming of the
war with the indisputable evidence of Hitler’s genocidal campaign against the
Jews, those fundamentalists [who
were] engaged in anti-Semitism backed off.’
In 1948, after the founding of Israel, those who had accused Jews of an
international conspiracy changed. [Ed.
Comment: Only some of them changed.] They were still anti-Semitic, but
in a different way. They became subtle, benign, patronizing. They became
‘lovingly’ grateful. Jews, at last, were doing what they were supposed to
do: leave Poland, Russia, Germany, England, the United States – go to
Palestine, re-create an Israel.”
Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: Henry Ford was a big supporter of Nazi Germany – and that ought to tell us something about Henry Ford!
NOTE: The following quotations were added on February 18, 2008:
“He
[Ed.: Professor Carroll Quigley, author of the book “Tragedy and
Hope”] tells us how banking influences what is going on, because
all these organizations [Ed.: i.e., covert organizations and secret
societies] tie into banking – and the secret organizations tie into
Lazard Brothers [Ed: i.e., Lazard Freres].
And, or course, most people think that [Ed.: i.e., Lazard Brothers] is
a Jewish organization. It is not Jewish at all. They push forward the
Jewish bankers to conceal what these people are really doing. And, of
course, we could go back in history, and we would find that the same forces that
were tied into this group were instrumental in creating the ‘Protocols [of
Zion]’, which were instrumental for the vicious persecution of Jews in both
Russia and Germany. And the Jews have been pushed forward to be the scapegoats
while people never were allowed to know who was really running things behind the
scenes.
So, let’s listen to what Professor Carroll Quigley says about international finance, which, incidentally, is NOT Jewish.” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (12-29-1994)
“A number of convincing arguments are made to convince us that the Jews, or the Jewish bankers, are our enemy. The first is: ‘Many of the Bolsheviks were Jews, and almost all of the original members of Lenin’s Politburo [Ed.: the executive committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union] were Jews’. There are several valid responses to that charge:
1. Although many of Lenin’s
followers were Jews, all but one of them [Ed.: i.e., the top-level
Jews who were leaders in the Bolshevik Revolution] were subsequently executed,
and that’s a poor way to reward Jews if they were the force behind
the Bolshevik Revolution. Leon Trotsky was Jewish. He was tracked down in
Mexico, and brutally murdered.
2. All but one of Jesus’
original disciples were Jews, but does that make Christianity a Jewish
conspiracy? [Ed.: All 12 original disciples were “Jews” (from a “religious
standpoint”) at the time they were chosen by Jesus Christ; 11 were from
Galilee, and one (Judas) was from Judea.]
3. …[Author Antony
Sutton] noted that many Englishmen fought on our [Ed.: the American] side
during the Revolutionary War, but that didn’t make the Revolutionary War an English
war.” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood of Darkness”;
2000; Page 59)
“Another
argument [Ed: made to convince us that the Jews, or the Jewish bankers, are
our enemy] is that Winston Churchill exposed the Zionist plot behind
Bolshevism. The response:
Although Winston Churchill did write an article in ‘The London
Illustrated Sunday Herald’ in 1920 claiming that Zionism was the force
behind Bolshevism, the response from the world media was very strange. Most
people who have attacked Zionism have been vilified, but Churchill always had favorable
press coverage. Was that because he was part of the Brotherhood, and his
article was an attempt to shift responsibility for the Russian Revolution
to the Jews?” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood
of Darkness”; 2000; Pages 59, 60)
“Another
point [that] is made [Ed.: to convince us that the Jews, or the
Jewish bankers, are our enemy is] that Jacob Schiff provided $20 million to
finance the Bolshevik Revolution. …Did Jacob Schiff really help the Bolsheviks?
Because of the progressive dumbing-down of our people, most Americans don’t
realize that there were two Russian revolutions. The first
revolution was in March 1917 (or February if you use the old Russian calendar);
the second [Ed.: Russian Revolution] was in October of that same year.
…The March [1917] revolution began in St. Petersburg when
a contingent of military recruits refused to fire on anti-government
demonstrators. …The Czar was forced to abdicate. Alexander Kerensky was
chosen to lead Russia until elections could be held. When it became obvious that
he intended to continue the war, the German High Command approached Lenin, who
was living in Switzerland. …They
offered him money and transportation to go to Russia to overthrow Kerensky.
…During
World War I, the American State Department was responsible for collecting
intelligence information. Their files confirm the fact that Jacob Schiff opposed
the czar, and after Kerensky had taken power, Jacob Schiff sent Kerensky a
telegram congratulating him – but the Bolshevik Revolution didn’t take place
until seven months later. …When he [Ed.: i.e., author Antony
Sutton] examined the State Department’s intelligence files, he found
evidence that Jacob Schiff opposed the Bolsheviks, and encouraged
our State Department to oppose them.
…The document [i.e., ‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’] first appeared in Russia in 1905; it claimed that Zionists were behind the wars and revolutions of the 19th century, and planned to seize control of the world. Many Russians believed ‘The Protocols’, and they began to persecute the Jews and [to] destroy their property. When the czar refused to intervene, Jacob Schiff began plotting to depose him. He provided revolutionary literature to the Russian soldiers captured by the Japanese during the Russo-Japanese War in 1905…It is even possible that some of the soldiers who participated in the March [1917] revolution read Jacob Schiff’s literature, so he may have played a part in inciting the March [1917] revolution, but that was not the Bolshevik Revolution [Ed: which occurred seven months later]. When Antony Sutton researched the State Department intelligence files, he found documents showing that English and American financiers provided funding for the Bolsheviks, but that fact is never mentioned today. Could it be that the story of Jacob Schiff’s $20 million gift to the Bolsheviks was contrived to divert attention away from the real source of their funding?” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood of Darkness”; 2000; Pgs 60-62)
“‘The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion’ were circulated throughout Europe during the early decades of the 20th century, and many people believed them. That led, at least in part, to the anti-Semitism that brought Adolph Hitler to power. [American] Henry Ford circulated ‘The Protocols’ in the United States and wrote a book entitled ‘The International Jew’, which claimed that Jewish bankers were responsible for World War I and the Bolshevik Revolution. Henry Ford supported the Nazis, and Hitler acknowledged his support by awarding him [i.e., Henry Ford] the highest German medal available to civilians. The Ford factories in [Nazi] Germany provided trucks, tanks, and [Ed.: other military] vehicles for Hitler’s armed forces. That would have been logical if Henry Ford really believed that Jewish bankers were responsible for the Bolshevik Revolution, and Hitler opposed them. The problem is that Henry Ford also built a factory complex in [Ed.: Communist] Russia [Ed.: i.e., the Soviet Union] to help the faltering Communist economy! Why did Ford promote anti-Semitism in the United States, support Adolph Hitler in [Nazi] Germany, and support the Bolsheviks in [Communist] Russia?” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood of Darkness”; 2000; Page 62)
“‘The Protocols [of the Learned Elders of Zion]’ were written in French, smuggled into Russia in 1905 where they were translated into Russian, and later transported to Great Britain where Victor Marsden translated them into English.” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood of Darkness”; 2000; Page 63)
“…Some sincere people believe that the Jews, or the Jewish bankers, are behind the world conspiracy. There are many clues that lead people to that conclusion, but I can assure you that the evidence has been planted to divert attention away from the truth. That is not to say there are no people of Jewish extraction within the Brotherhood, but those who support the movement have renounced their belief in Judaism, and worship a different god. Anti-Semitism is a trap that has been baited to lead us away from the truth.” – Dr. Stanley Monteith (“Brotherhood of Darkness”; 2000; Pages 58, 59)
“Actually, nobody has a right to be more angry at the Rothschild clique
than their fellow Jews. The Warburgs, part of the Rothschild empire, helped
finance Adolph Hitler. There were few if
any Rothschilds or Warburgs in
the Nazi prison camps! They sat out the war in luxurious hotels in Paris or
emigrated to the United States or England. As a group, Jews have suffered
most at the hands of these power seekers. A Rothschild has much more in common
with a Rockefeller than he does with a [Ed.:
Jewish] tailor from Budapest or the Bronx.” – Gary Allen (“None
Dare Call It Conspiracy”; 1971; Page 40)
Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: German Roman Catholic Knight
of Malta Franz von Papen and the
German Roman Catholic Centrum Party in Bavaria helped put Hitler into power.
American Knights of Malta
(big financiers) helped finance Hitler’s rise to power. Who controls
the Knights of Malta?
Answer: The Jesuit
Superior General controls the Knights
of Malta. Numerous popes have been responsible
for the butchering of large numbers of Jews (e.g., during the “holy”
Crusades). Later in history, the Vatican and its Jesuit Order were able to
butcher millions of Jews during World War II. (Roman Catholic
dictators were installed all over Europe prior to, and during, the early stages
of World War II, e.g., Adolf Hitler in Germany, Benito Mussolini in Italy,
Jesuit Monsignor Tiso in Slovakia, Ante Pavelic in Croatia, etc.)
BOTTOM LINE: A number of alternative media broadcast hosts continue to
BLAME “the Jews”, when the overwhelming preponderance of
evidence clearly shows that the “Vatican-Papacy-Jesuits-Knights
of Malta cabal” (a.k.a. Jesuit-controlled
Papal Rome) is the top player (by far) on the New World Order
“chessboard”. Yes, WHY do these alternative media broadcast hosts continue
to do this when the overwhelming preponderance of evidence clearly shows
that papal KNIGHTS, JESUITS, and JESUIT “temporal coadjutors” are the men
operating “behind the scenes”,
pulling the “strings” of token Jews (i.e., “Court Jews”) that they put
in certain prominent positions to give the “conspiracy” a “Jewish
flavor”? Something is very wrong within a
sizeable segment of the so-called “alternative media”!
